Experimenting with materials and pushing their boundaries are inherent to Helga Gillijns’ creations (°1978 - Leuven). This play without boundaries every time results in a contemporary and characteristic design.  Rather than being based on certain themes or subjects, her form of art mainly resides in intuition. The sculptures arise through an unbridled and aesthetic experience, where elements like form, composition and color enhance and balance each other throughout the entire creation process. Each of her creations are autonomous and abstract, appealing to each and everybody’s ultimate imagination.
